This science building included laboratories for education and research for the Physics Department, Life Sciences Department and Chemistry Department. Departmental Offices and faculty offices for the three departments were included along with offices for student service programs and a planetarium director. The building included three lecture halls, computer services lab, student lounge and café. A one hundred seat planetarium with auxiliary spaces is the main focal point in the building.
