On Thursday afternoon, April 3, a ground breaking ceremony marked the official start of the new Park Hill MOB and Ambulatory Surgical Center, located at the corner of Kimzey Street and Locke Avenue in downtown Fort Worth.
The project, named Park Hill MOB and ASC, includes a 3-story, 51,000 square foot medical office complex. The first floor will house an 18,262 square foot ambulatory surgical center, and the remaining two floors will be shell space for future clinics.
LandPlan Development’s Director Reed Williams provided commentary on the importance of this project: “Why are we here? Is it a business venture? Sure. It's a business venture but it's more than that; it’s a building that will truly change lives. We [LandPlan Development] get to build all kinds of buildings. But there is something really special about a place where healing happens.”
The project is slated to break ground in April 2014 with completion scheduled for December 2014. Adolfson & Peterson Construction is the general contractor. Ascension Group Architects lead the design team of AG&E-SE, Baird Hampton & Brown and SWA.
